I apologize for taking so long. Schoolwork has me busy, so I may not post as often as I'd like. That said I'll bring everyone up to speed on what I've been doing:
Sunday
I participated in an orienteering competition I was doing fine, until I stopped to help another person figure out where they were going. We were taking the same course, so we decided to work together. Sadly, she wasn't very good, and we quickly became lost. We spent the next hour wandering the forest. All the while I could feel It watching, but It never made a move. We eventually made it back to the starting zone. Neither of our teams won trophies.
Monday
Nothing of note occurred with me today, though I did got soaked with rain.
Tuesday
My after school orienteering practice was canceled, so I spent the day working on my Latin and other homework.
Today
The power in my school went out during first period, and I suffered from (and still am) a horrible headache all day.
All in all, things have been slow around here. BlackRose, on the other hand, has been very busy. I wish him the best of luck. I'll post again soon.

Headaches? like migraine? How often do you have this ones?

They can be very painful, but they weren't often before. Now, they start up whenever It's around.

I thank you for your offer of help, and I will keep it in mind. I must say though, I frown upon your kill on sight attitude about proxies. Wouldn't a capture and cleanse process be more effective? It would save more lives then your current procedure. Also, would you be so kind as to remove the mature content block on your blog? I'm sixteen, so it won't let me in.
DeleteThe proxy behavior is a little different at this zone. They dedicate to children traffic in different chains all across the north frontier, also we now know they get incomes from clandestine prostitution houses too. And when they are not praising the faceless they simply traffic the left overs (organs; I'm sure you can figure out from what activity this come from). The goverment let us do what we do because they think these men are a new cartel or something like that, we think is something lots worse. In some cases heavy armed (without adding their supernatural support), their groups are mostly integrated by complete families, making them rich in numbers. We don't even have an idea of how many are out there, since according to the federal documents none of this men ever existed.
DeleteAlso, sorry about the content block but we have some 9 years-old kids with us who have access to our pages, and we considerate some material innapropiate for them, specially since most tof them just want to forgive everything they have been through...
I had no idea that the situation was so serious, but I still stand by what I said. I can't stand to think of someone dying before they can be freed, and eternally losing their souls to It.
DeleteWell the Assembly started the movement when the proxys attacked us after we had encountered the Abomination several times. I don't considerate myself a killer so I do understand your point, but take in mind that people like Miguel and other high ranks have lost familiars in horrible ways when we contacted the Abomination, and since the Abomination is currently "ünkillable" for us, the proxys had the bad luck of being "tangible" when they attacked as well.

ReplyDeleteSad to say, I have nothing to take a break from. I wish I was doing something to help, though. Besides, the longer It focuses on me, the longer other Runners are free of It's presence.
